I can't believe we're almost at the last stage. It seems like just yesterday when I was still trying to decide on a topic to write for my SUJA. Now I'm about to write my last product and to prepare my oral presentation. It just seems so... final.
This reminds me of PW two years ago. Back then we did only 5 minutes of speech each, and we had our groupmates supporting each other during the oral presentation. And we were out celebrating the minute we finished our presentation.
But now its a solo thing for 15 minutes. Time to practice making intelligent talk!

Outline!
I've been writing the outline for my essay. Just compiling what I know and what I've read.
.....aaaannd its already 1200 words!! Muahahah (I don't know if its just me but when I write essays I tend to judge my progress by the word count. Yeah its not a healthy habit...) but I was quite happy with it.
But its good to have someone review it. They tell you things about your writings that you dont realise. Like how the outline is discussing the issue instead of arguing a stand.
Arguing isnt that simple eh? You would think there would be less arguments over small little matters since its such a long process (i mean, we're learning about in uni!). But nope, I guess its human nature to assert our opinions.

Pilot.
I am not used to this. Sure, I rant to a few people(poor souls) about my day and what I did or saw or heard. But I don't post statuses on Facebook, I don't write blog posts, I do not usually voice my opinions for the whole wide world to hear.
Maybe its a confidence problem. I always feel very embarassed when others read my writings, whether it be teachers or peers (especially when they're reading it right in front of me and I could see their eyeballs moving and their brains processing every word I wrote.). Even when sending an email to my brother I will reread my email several times and rewrite every other sentence before I click 'send'. Sometimes even I feel funny reading my own writings.
Or maybe I'm just not so good at expressing myself. Words do not come easily. I think in Chinese and I think I subconciously translate them into english. Then I guess the only thing I can do is to practice.
That's why I took up a writing module. I know I would prefer not to write but I am going to force myself to do it. I want to be able to write like some of my friends. Phrases flow out of them like water out of a tap.
So here goes. 3000 words essay. Word count so far... well its still zero.
